Tagliatelle with Beef and Tomato Sauce topped with 4 Cheese Sauce

Tagliatelle with Beef and Tomato Sauce, which was supposed to be Cream Tomato Sauce but then I forgot the cream so I just had to make the sauce plain, topped with 4 Cheese Sauce, cheeses including:
  • cream cheese (I used Philadelphia Garlic and Herb Cheese, just to add a little extra taste)
  • stilton cheese (just a little bit, because it has a really strong taste)
  • Gloucester Cheese (for sprinkling on top of the dish before baking to give it that orange topped melted cheese look
  • Cheddar Cheese (like the Gloucester cheese, it is also used for the top base to crisp the top layer and give the dish that golden brown melted cheese colour
For the 4 Cheese Sauce, the cream cheese and stilton cheese would have to be heated with milk and cornflour to melth them and this would them be poured over the pasta and beef with tomato sauce. And finally, the Gloucester and Cheddar, sprinkled on top to melt in the oven.

for the bits your tongue can't reach

For mum and dads anniversary, we decided to go to the Trafford Centre and have a meal and watch a film; and so we ate at Nandos. It was the first time I have ever eaten at Nandos and I was a bit disppointed because I've heard of people making nice comments about Nandos and how good the food is there but when we ate at Nandos, the food I ordered tasted delicious and rich but comparing to other similar meals I have tasted from other restaurants, Nandos lost. I can say that the restaurant wins at presentation though. Just look at the lovely designs of the their menus and napkins:

And they give out free nuts as well. And don't forget the cute little ice chips for the drinks.

the oozing goodness of profiteroles

One of the many cakes that dad just buys for the family was the Profiterole Chocolate Cake. This type of cake is one I've never tasted ever before until dad bought one. I've never even heard of profiteroles or ever tasted one as well until me and my sister came here in England!

Anyway, the cake was very sweet and hearty. It was seeping with chocolate indulgence and in addition to that, the soft crispness of the profiteroles perfected the overall flimsy texture of the icing and cake.

a cardboard shape with a cup of softness

When me and my family drove down South of England, we stopped over to this garden site/shop area that also had a cafe. In the cafe, my mum and sister ordered a cup of coffee and some cake and from looking at it now, I can definitely reflect on the time I tasted it. It was absolutely cardboard hard and dry. It was aslo bland. Back then, when I first saw the cake by the display tray, it looked appetising, but looking at the picture now, I can just see the dry texture and blandness of the cake.

The coffee on the other hand, atleast tasted a little better but there wasn't that much difference to the cake though. It is obviously liquid and so its softer, but the taste was so bitter that we had to add about 5 packets of sugar and the drink wasn't even espresso.

The atmosphere of us eating and having a drink by a garden centre, could've sounded perfect excepy for the fact that the food and drink were unpleasant.

my cravings for Macs

McDonalds is always the best place to got to when you just want that bit of hunger to go away. You can buy set meals like: Cheese Burger with fries and a drink for a cheap price. On the negative side, eating McDonalds on a daily basis is not very good as the calories or carbohydrates in the food are within high percentage.

Recently, I've been hearing a lot about 'McDonalds Cravings' and how much people just suddenly crave McDonalds after they haven't had one for a while and I understand the term because I have them too especially when I only eat McDonalds atleast 3 or 4 times a month; 1 times a week and sometimes I don't even have any at all, in a month.

watch out for the Subway

birthday dinner with Bella

For my 16th birthday, me and my family went to Blackpool. It was a day of fun and peace and serenity with just walking by the beach, playing arcade games and most of all, having a good dinner with my family in an amazing restaurant called Bella Italia.
The restaurant was a bit small, it is set up in a cottage house and we dined at te first floor, which was small, thus making us feel a bit cramped. However, besides that, everything else was good at Bella Italia.

The food was amazingly appetising and attractive and were very tasty. I ordered a asta dish with meatballs in tomato sauce and I didn't expect it to be so big, but then it was massively huge that it could've lasted me the whole day.

Besides my pasta, my dad ordered a Grilled Chicken dish and my sister ordered Carbonara (like she always do anyway, it's probably her favourite pasta dish ever). Me and my mum also ordered hot drinks: cappuccino and hot chocolate, and they tasted sweet and magnificent; they tasted just as good as Starbucks drinks.

Overall, Bella Italia had an amazing set of menu and the food and drink are delicious and I would love to go back again and again.

pasta at Pizza

Me and my family went down to London last year, and down there, we couldn't find a proper restaurant so instead we just ate at Pizza Express.

These are some of the pasta dishes that mum and dad ordered for themselves. I had a little taste of the dishes and they were both very very tasty and looked appetising; they could pass for a proper dish that can be found in a proper restaurant.
